The Insurance, Billing, and Coding Essentials course equips you with knowledge in diagnosis and procedure coding, reimbursement processes, and working with insurance providers.

Upon completion, you’ll be ready to sit for the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) exam through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).*

Students using Army Credentialing Assistance may opt to take the Billing Coding Specialist Certification (BCSC) exam from the American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), which is also an approved credential under the Army CA program.
