The Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course teaches how to respond to and manage illnesses or injuries in infants and children during the critical first moments before professional help arrives. It follows the latest AHA Guidelines for CPR, ECC, and First Aid.

What Does this Course Teach?

First Aid Basics

Medical, injury, poison, and environmental emergencies, preventing illnesses and injuries, and controlling bleeding & bandaging.

Use of Tourniquet & Bleeding Control

Includes how to use a tourniquet, manage shock, internal bleeding, burns, and electrical injuries.

Allergies & Breathing Problems

Covers allergic reactions, breathing issues, dehydration, diabetes, and low blood sugar.

Temperature-Related Emergencies

Addresses heat and cold emergencies, including dehydration and drowning incidents.

Injuries & Trauma

Covers amputations, bites and stings, broken bones, sprains, splinters, and nosebleeds.

Head & Internal Injuries

Teaches how to handle fainting, seizures, and injuries to the head, eyes, neck, spine, mouth, and teeth.

CPR AED & Choking

CPR and AED use for Adults*(optional), Children, and Infants. Adult*(optional), Child, and Infant choking management.

Course Completion Card

After successfully completing all course requirements, participants will receive a Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED certification card, valid for two years.
